The West Broward Bobcats overwhelmed the visiting Miramar Patriots football squad by a margin of 52-8 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bobcats now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dr. Krop for a 6A District 15 test on Thursday, October 23. West Broward will clash with a Lightning squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Flanagan (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Lightning record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Miramar falls to 3-5 on the year. The Patriots host Everglades (Miramar, FL) to face the Gators in a 5A District 16 game on Friday, October 24. The Gators enter the game with a record of 2-6. Everglades lost 35-18 in their recent league game against Pembroke Pines Charter (Pembroke Pines, FL)
