Arizona High School Football - West Point crushed by Sunrise Mountain
October 16, 2025: Peoria, AZ 85382 The Sunrise Mountain Mustangs overwhelmed the visiting West Point Dragons football squad by a margin of 51-6 in Thursday's league test.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Apollo for a test on Wednesday, October 22. Sunrise Mountain will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 27-7 league loss to Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 2-5.
The Dragons (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cactus (Glendale, AZ). The Cobras enter the challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Cactus bounced Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ), 54-0, in a league challenge.
