Poway Titans (Poway, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA), 27-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Poway improves its record to 12-6 on the season. The Titans host San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Avocado battle on Monday, October 20. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 11-8. San Dieguito Academy won 33-0 in their recent non-league battle against Vista (Vista, CA)

The Nighthawks now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho Bernardo for a Palomar match on Monday, October 20. Del Norte will meet a Broncos squad coming off a 33-0 non-league loss to Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 3-15.
