Michigan High School Football - Grosse Pointe South tops Anchor Bay
October 16, 2025: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236 The Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Anchor Bay Tars to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grosse Pointe North for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 23. Grosse Pointe South will face a Norsemen team coming off a 58-6 non-league win over Mott (Warren, MI). The Norsemen record now stands at 5-3.
The Tars (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Adams (Rochester, MI). The Highlanders enter the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Adams topped Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI), 44-28, in a non-league outing.
