New York High School Football - Cornwall Central prevails Goshen Central
October 16, 2025: New Windsor, NY 12553 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Cornwall Central Dragons football team scored a nice 25-14 win over the Goshen Central Gladiators.
In their next game, the Dragons play the Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 23. Cornwall Central will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Middie Bears go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 18-12 non-league win over Valley Central (Montgomery, NY).
With the defeat, Goshen Central drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Beacon (Beacon, NY) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Beacon lost 32-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY)
