Texas High School Football - Monterey smashes Tascosa
October 16, 2025: Amarillo, TX 79102 The Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) football trounced the host Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX), 52-12 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Plainsmen now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caprock for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 5.
With the defeat, Tascosa drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Abilene (Abilene, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 23. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 1-3.
