North Carolina High School Football - Union crushed by North Duplin
October 16, 2025: Calypso, NC 28365 North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), 41-6 in a non-league match.
The Rebels (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Midway (Dunn, NC). The Raiders come into the non-league match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Midway was routed by Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC), 31-22, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Spartans meet the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 23. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 25-13 non-league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC).
