In Thursday's league game, the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) football team overcame the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), by a tally of 37-17.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) in a game, on Thursday, October 23. North Surry will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 1-6 record after their 32-6 non-league loss to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC).
