Maryland High School Football - Wise sneaks past Potomac
October 16, 2025: Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 The Wise Pumas football squad scored 6 points and limited the visiting Potomac Wolverines to 0 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pumas now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Suitland for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 23. Wise will play a Rams team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over DuVal (Lanham, MD). The Rams record now stands at 3-2.
The Wolverines (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Flowers (Springdale, MD). The Jaguars go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Flowers was edged by Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD), 22-20, in a non-league test.
