The Tiftarea Academy Panthers softball squad (Chula, GA), was edged 7-6 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA)

With the triumph, John Milledge Academy advances its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Westfield School (Perry, GA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Westfield School won 8-2 in their recent league bout against St. Anne-Pacelli (Columbus, GA)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 16. Tiftarea Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 2-19 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Westfield School (Perry, GA).
