The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) and the host Norris Titans (Firth, NE), saw Skutt Catholic's softball squad nip Norris by a score of 8-1.

With the triumph, Skutt Catholic improves its record to 27-6 on the year. The SkyHawks travel to Northwest (Grand Island, NE) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 28-2. Northwest won 8-0 in their recent non-league battle against Blair (Blair, NE)

With the loss, Norris moves to 23-12 on the season.
