In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Grace Christian School Kings volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks.

With the win, Grace Christian School advances its record to 20-7 on the season. The Kings host Veritas School (Richmond, VA) to face the Lions in a non-league outing on Monday, October 20. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 16-12. Veritas School won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA)

With the loss, Miller School of Albemarle drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA) to play the Celtics in a VISAA Blue Ridge game on Monday, October 20. The Celtics go into the game with a record of 3-16. Roanoke Catholic won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Carlisle (Axton, VA)
