In Thursday's league outing, the visiting PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Illini Central Cougars.

The Bluejays now possess a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to South County for a non-league outing on Friday, October 17. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central will play a Vipers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL). The Vipers record now stands at 13-12.
