October 17, 2022: Duluth, MN 55811 Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Denfeld Hunters (Duluth, MN), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Gobblers battle the Hill City Hornets (Hill City, MN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 18. Aitkin will attempt to advance on its 11-13 season record. The Hornets come into the match with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Floodwood (Floodwood, MN).
With the loss, Denfeld drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Hunters travel to Proctor (Proctor, MN) to battle the Rails in a Lake Superior match on Tuesday, October 18.
