October 17, 2022: Sandy, UT 84094 The Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) volleyball overcame the visiting Cyprus Pirates (Magna, UT), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Alta upgrades its record to 10-11 on the year. The Hawks host Mountain View (Orem, UT) to face the Bruins in a 5A Region 8 outing on Wednesday, October 19. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 23-3. Mountain View won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Lehi (Lehi, UT)
The Pirates now own a 1-20 record. They play next when they host Hunter for a 6A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, October 18. Cyprus will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Roy (Roy, UT). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-3.
