October 17, 2022: New Martinsville, WV 26155 The Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV) volleyball overcame the visiting Madonna Blue Dons (Weirton, WV), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Magnolia upgrades its record to 20-11 on the year. The Blue Eagles travel to Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV) to play the Crusaders in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 20. The Crusaders go into the outing with a record of 0-12. Parkersburg Catholic lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV)
The Blue Dons now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Glen for a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 19. Madonna will play a Golden Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Edison (Richmond, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 21-7.
