Pennsylvania High School Football - Scranton held off by Abington Heights
October 17, 2023: Scranton, PA 18508 In Tuesday's non-league game, the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) football team tipped the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), by a score of 2-0.
The Comets (7-0) will now prepare for their game against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans come into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, North Pocono was tipped by Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA), 26-20, in a non-league game.
The Knights now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a non-league game on Monday, October 23. Scranton will battle a Warriors team coming off a 34-18 non-league loss to Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-4.
