October 17, 2023: Lake Charles, LA 70605 The Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) volleyball overcame the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Barbe upgrades its record to 15-11 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Newman (New Orleans, LA) to face the Greenies in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 21. The Greenies go into the outing with a record of 25-6.
The Yellowjackets now own a 6-23 record. They play next when they host Acadiana for a Division I District 2 outing on Thursday, October 19. New Iberia will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Rams record now stands at 7-15.
