October 17, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70126 The Ecole Classique Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host St. Mary's Academy Cougars to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran for a Division V District 7 game on Thursday, October 19. Ecole Classique will meet a Gryphons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA). The Gryphons record now stands at 1-9.
The Cougars (4-9) will now prepare for their game against St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league game with a 2-12 record. In their last game, St. Katharine Drexel dropped by St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA), 3-0, in a league game.
