October 17, 2024: Seminole, OK 74868 Alex Longhorns (Alex, OK) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK), 58-22 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Alex improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Longhorns host Cyril (Cyril, OK) to play the Pirates in a B-II District 2 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 25. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Cyril won 44-12 in their recent league battle against Wetumka (Wetumka, OK)
The Yellowjackets now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Weleetka for a B-II District 2 (8 Man) battle on Thursday, October 24. Strother will play a Outlaws team coming off a 50-0 non-league win over Thackerville (Thackerville, OK). The Outlaws record now stands at 7-0.
