Florida High School Football - Fort Lauderdale sneaks past McArthur
October 17, 2024: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33305 The Fort Lauderdale Flying L's football squad scored 25 points and limited the visiting McArthur Mustangs to 24 in the Flying L's non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Flying L's now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Coral Springs for a 6A District 13 test on Friday, October 25. Fort Lauderdale will meet a Colts squad coming off a 33-13 non-league loss to Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, FL). The Colts record now stands at 0-7.
With the defeat, McArthur drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to South Plantation (Plantation, FL) to meet the Paladins in a non-league test on Friday, October 25. The Paladins come into the test with a record of 4-4. South Plantation won 22-6 in their recent league test against Cooper City (Cooper City, FL)
