The Veterans Memorial Chargers football squad scored 46 points and limited the host Hanna Golden Eagles to 7 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Los Fresnos for a 6A Region IV District 32 test on Thursday, October 24. Veterans Memorial will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 45-17 league win over San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Hanna moves to 1-7 on the season. The Golden eagles travel to Harlingen (Harlingen, TX) to encounter the Cardinals in a 6A Region IV District 32 battle on Thursday, October 24.
