Maryland High School Football - Kennedy crushed by Whitman
October 17, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20902 Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD), 41-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Whitman improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD) to play the Barons in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 24. The Barons go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Bethesda-Chevy Chase lost 24-17 in their recent league battle against Blair (Silver Spring, MD)
The Cavaliers now have a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Springbrook for a Montgomery County 3A battle on Friday, October 25. Kennedy will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 42-19 non-league win over Winters Mill (Westminster, MD). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-3.
