California High School Football - St. Augustine sneaks past Point Loma
October 17, 2024: San Diego, CA 92104 The St. Augustine Saints football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Point Loma Pointers to 14 in the Saints league triumph on Thursday.
The Saints now hold a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a test on Saturday, October 26. St. Augustine will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Point Loma drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Pointers host La Jolla (La Jolla, CA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-3. La Jolla lost 27-8 in their recent league test against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA)
