New Jersey High School Soccer - Butler nudges West Milford
October 17, 2024: Butler, NJ 07419 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Butler Bulldogs (Butler, NJ) and the visiting West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ), saw Butler's soccer squad hold off West Milford by a count of 1-0.
The Bulldogs (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ). The Chiefs enter the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Caldwell was edged by West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Highlanders battle the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 17. West Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 0-7 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Irvington (Irvington, NJ).
