The Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) football knocked off the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), 48-30 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Stanly for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 24. Mount Pleasant will clash with a Comets squad coming off a 42-0 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Comets record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Albemarle drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 24. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 0-2.
