The Anchor Bay Tars football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils to 21 in the Tars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tars now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Adams for a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. Anchor Bay will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 47-13 league loss to Oxford (Oxford, MI). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-3.
