October 17, 2024: Lawndale, NC 28090 The Burns Bulldogs walloped the visiting East Gaston Warriors football team by a score of 48-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Burns will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Patton (Morganton, NC).
The Warriors (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Shelby bounced Brevard (Brevard, NC), 31-7, in a non-league challenge.
