North Carolina High School Football - Central Davidson can't hold off Montgomery Central
October 17, 2024: Lexington, NC 27292 Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC), 22-21 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Montgomery Central improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 24. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a record of 6-1. Oak Grove won 48-3 in their recent non-league battle against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
The Spartans now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Davidson for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 24. Central Davidson will play a Black Knights team coming off a 28-6 non-league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 6-2.
