In Thursday's non-league match, the host Mountain Pointe Pride football squad scored a good 30-6 triumph over the Corona del Sol Aztecs.

The Pride (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Salpointe Catholic went down by Liberty (Peoria, AZ), 39-13, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Aztecs meet the Brophy College Prep Broncos (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 23. Corona del Sol will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
