October 17, 2024: Pilot Mountain, NC 27041 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) and the visiting North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC), witnessed East Surry's football squad topple North Wilkes by a tally of 30-12.
The Cardinals (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Surry Central was outscored by Forbush (East Bend, NC), 43-22, in a non-league contest.
