California High School Football - San Juan Hills thwarted by Newport Harbor
October 17, 2024: Newport Beach, CA 92663 Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting San Juan Hills Stallions (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 16-7 in a league battle.
With the win, Newport Harbor advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Sailors host Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA) to play the Mustangs in a battle on Thursday, October 24. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 6-1.
The Stallions now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Villa Park for a battle on Thursday, October 24. San Juan Hills will play a Spartans team coming off a 41-7 league win over Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-1.
