October 17, 2024: Waynesboro, VA 22980 The Stuarts Draft Cougars football squad scored 22 points and limited the host Waynesboro Little Giants to 20 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverheads for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 23. Stuarts Draft will meet a Gladiators squad coming off a 32-14 non-league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Waynesboro drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Little giants travel to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA) to meet the Green Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. The Green Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-5. Wilson Memorial lost 22-15 in their recent non-league test against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA)
