Maryland High School Soccer - Eastern Tech knocks off Overlea
October 17, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21206 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Eastern Tech Mavericks (Baltimore, MD) and the host Overlea Falcons (Baltimore, MD), saw Eastern Tech's soccer squad triumph over Overlea by a count of 8-0.
The Mavericks (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sparrows Point (Baltimore, MD). The Pointers enter the Baltimore County 2A/1A battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Sparrows Point notched a victory over Fallston (Fallston, MD), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Falcons battle the New Town (Owings Mills, MD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 19. Overlea will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The enter the battle with a 2-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Chesapeake (Baltimore, MD).
