Delaware High School Soccer - Polytech knocks off Red Lion Christian Academy
October 17, 2024: Woodside, DE 19980 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) and the visiting Red Lion Christian Academy Lions (Bear, DE), saw Polytech's soccer squad triumph over Red Lion Christian Academy by a count of 11-0.
The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Smyrna (Smyrna, DE). The Eagles enter the Henlopen North battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Smyrna was overwhelmed by St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Lions battle the Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles (Newark, DE) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 18. Red Lion Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-10 record after their 8-0 league loss to Newark (Newark, DE).
