October 17, 2024: Ravenna, MI 49451 Sparta Spartans (Sparta, MI) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Ravenna Bulldogs (Ravenna, MI), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sparta advances its record to 11-12 on the season. The Spartans host Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI) to face the Red Hawks in a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. The Red Hawks go into the test with a record of 25-6. Cedar Springs lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Coopersville (Coopersville, MI)
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reeths-Puffer for a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. Ravenna will face a Rockets squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 10-17.
