In Friday's league match, the visiting Philip Simmons Iron Horses football squad scored a decisive 57-0 victory over the Academic Magnet Raptors.

The Iron Horses (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Timberland (St. Stephen, SC). The Wolves enter the AA Region 6 match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Timberland walloped Andrews (Andrews, SC), 21-7, in a league battle.

The Raptors now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Woodland for a AA Region 6 battle on Friday, October 24. Academic Magnet will play a Wolverines team coming off a 56-0 league win over Burke (Charleston, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-4.
