In Friday's league match, the visiting Allen Park Jaguars football squad scored a decisive 57-0 triumph over the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds.

The Jaguars (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Carlson (Gibraltar, MI). The Marauders come into the Downriver match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Carlson routed Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI), 59-36, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Thunderbirds meet the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) in a Downriver match, on Friday, October 24. Edsel Ford will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 56-7 non-league loss to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI).
