Pennsylvania High School Football - South Park loses to Apollo Ridge
October 17, 2025: South Park, PA 15129 Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host South Park Eagles (South Park, PA), 45-34 in a league battle.
With the win, Apollo Ridge advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Vikings host Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA) to play the Rams in a WPIAL AA Allegheny battle on Friday, October 24. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 1-8. Ligonier Valley lost 49-0 in their recent league match against Steel Valley (Munhall, PA)
Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL AA Allegheny match, on Friday, October 24. South Park will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 18-8 league loss to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA).
