Oregon High School Football - Astoria can't hold off Seaside
October 17, 2025: Astoria, OR 97103 Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR), 19-17 in a league battle.
With the win, Seaside advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Seagulls host St. Helens (St. Helens, OR) to play the Lions in a 4A Special District 1 match on Friday, October 24. The Lions come into the match with a record of 2-5. St. Helens won 33-0 in their recent league match against Gladstone/Riverdale (Gladstone, OR)
Coming up next, the Fishermen meet the Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR) in a 4A Special District 1 match, on Friday, October 24. Astoria will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Indians go into the battle with a 6-1 record after their 39-28 league win over Tillamook (Tillamook, OR).
