October 17, 2025: Ayer, MA 01432 Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Ayer Shirley Panthers (Ayer, MA), 40-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Lunenburg advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Blue Knights travel to Murdock (Winchendon, MA) to confront the Blue Devils in a Midland Wachusett - E match on Friday, October 24. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 2-4. Murdock lost 41-0 in their recent league battle against Littleton (Littleton, MA)
The Panthers now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Worcester Tech for a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. Ayer Shirley will play a Eagles team coming off a 34-14 non-league loss to Bartlett (Webster, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
