The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Bear Creek Bruins (Stockton, CA) and the host Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA), witnessed Bear Creek's football squad knock off Franklin by a tally of 47-26.

The Bruins (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against West (Tracy, CA). The Wolfpack go into the San Joaquin Athletic Association bout with a 1-7 record. In their last bout, West dropped by Tokay (Lodi, CA), 62-8, in a league bout.

The Yellowjackets now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Weston Ranch for a San Joaquin Athletic Association bout on Friday, October 24. Franklin will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 33-0 league loss to Chavez (Stockton, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-7.
