Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Beatrice Orangemen (Beatrice, NE), 20-10 in a league battle.

With the win, Pius X advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Waverly (Waverly, NE) to play the Vikings in a B District 3 battle on Friday, October 24. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 8-0. Waverly won 45-42 in their recent league match against Norris (Firth, NE)

Coming up next, the Orangemen meet the Standing Bear Grizzlies (Lincoln, NE) in a B District 3 match, on Friday, October 24. Beatrice will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Grizzlies come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 29-17 non-league win over Lincoln Northwest (Lincoln, NE).
