The Nimitz Cougars walloped the host Benjamin Davis Falcons football team by a score of 40-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 challenge, on Thursday, October 23. Nimitz will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 20-6 league win over Dekaney (Houston, TX).

The Falcons (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region II District 14 test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Aldine was overwhelmed by Westfield (Houston, TX), 58-0, in a league test.
