Texas High School Football - Loraine falls to Blackwell
October 17, 2025: Loraine, TX 79532 The Blackwell Hornets ran past the host Loraine Bulldogs football squad by a count of 83-52 in Friday's league test.
The Hornets now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bronte for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 6 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 24. Blackwell will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 56-6 league win over Loraine (Loraine, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Loraine drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Trent (Trent, TX) to meet the Gorillas in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 6 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 24. The Gorillas come into the test with a record of 6-1. Trent won 70-25 in their recent league challenge against Olfen (Rowena, TX)
