Pennsylvania High School Football - Pottsville crushed by Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA), 49-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Blue Mountain improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Eagles host Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA) to play the Blue Raiders in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A battle on Friday, October 24. The Blue Raiders go into the battle with a record of 3-6. Tamaqua lost 56-16 in their recent league match against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA)

Coming up next, the Crimson Tide meet the North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A challenge, on Friday, October 24. Pottsville will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 36-14 league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA).
