New York High School Football - Boys & Girls thwarts Roosevelt
October 17, 2025: Brooklyn, NY 11204 Boys & Girls Kangaroos (Brooklyn, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Roosevelt Cougars (Brooklyn, NY), 22-6 in a league battle.
With the win, Boys & Girls improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Kangaroos host Eagle Academy III (Queens, NY) to play the Eagles in a PSAL 2A battle on Saturday, October 25. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Eagle Academy III won 31-6 in their recent league battle against Transit Tech (Brooklyn, NY)
Coming up next, the Cougars meet the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 25. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 1-6 record after their 37-13 league loss to Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY).
