Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA) boosters were happy Friday as they witnessed their football squad smash the visiting Montachusett RVT Bulldogs (Fitchburg, MA), 44-6 in a league match.

The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their match against St. Paul (Worcester, MA). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, St. Paul was routed by Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA), 37-0, in a league match.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Assabet Valley RVT for a Inter-High battle on Friday, October 24. Montachusett RVT will play a Aztecs team coming off a 48-0 league loss to Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA). The Aztecs record now stands at 1-5.
