The Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) football were winner over the visiting V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), 48-26 in Friday's league outing.

The Bobcat now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest for a 6A Region I District 4 outing on Friday, October 24. Byron Nelson will face a Texans team coming off a 57-7 league loss to Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX). The Texans record now stands at 2-5.

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Trinity (Euless, TX). The Trojans enter the 6A Region I District 4 game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Trinity notched a victory over Keller (Keller, TX), 55-37, in a league game.
