Oregon High School Football - Hillsboro can't hold off Caldera
October 17, 2025: Bend, OR 97702 Caldera (Bend, OR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Hillsboro Spartans (Hillsboro, OR), 33-27 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Caldera improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The host Crook County (Prineville, OR) to meet the Cowboys in a 5A Intermountain match on Friday, October 24. The Cowboys come into the match with a record of 2-5. Crook County lost 37-7 in their recent league match against Summit (Bend, OR)
Coming up next, the Spartans meet the Forest Grove Vikings (Forest Grove, OR) in a 5A Special District 2 test, on Friday, October 24. Hillsboro will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 41-7 league loss to Canby (Canby, OR).
